1) [darg_sama] 9-11-2005(218): You use an American flag to wrap up a salad for a picnic and bind it with a hairpin. Now imagine unfolding it to open up the bounty you've fixed up for yourself.

2) [synewave] 25-5-2007(125): Unfold flag, take out the salad, pin the flag down with hairpins and have a picnic.

3) [ivantolearnkanji] 9-7-2008(31): You unfold the Stars and Stripes flag in order to hoist it high, but there's a problem! One of the stars has fallen off! With some quick thinking, you pin a flower to the flag using a hairpin, and you're all set. Good thing you don't have to refold the flag once unfolded.

4) [esaulgd] 8-3-2009(10): The farmer girl has made some ready-to-eat salad packs, but has no way to take it to the market. She takes down the flag, wraps the salad packs and ties the bundle with her own hairpin. So she arrives at the market and unfolds the bundle to exhibit her goods. (Based on "darg_sama"'s story).

5) [jabberwockychortles] 13-12-2009(4): The flag had been used for a picnic so when I unfolded it, bits of salad and hairpins fell out of the folds.
