Koohii stories:

1) [to_nihon] 14-3-2009(26): The king was given two choices by the abductor: either the king gives him the lapis lazuli jewels, or he throws the king's infant son into the stream.

2) [CasualTatsumaki] 30-7-2010(10): The king as an infant was washed away by the current to a beautiful island of lapis lazuli waters, the Ryuukyuu Islands 琉球 (Okinawa before annexation).

3) [thecite] 24-5-2010(7): This kanji should be "Ryukyu Islands" or something similar and 瑠 should be Lapis Lazuli.

4) [gfb345] 10-5-2010(4): Contrary to sulphur (#763 硫) 硫 , which is ranked as a mere stone (#113 石) 石 , LAPIS LAZULI is a jewel (#256 玉). (Interestingly, LAPIS LAZULI contains SULPHUR!). So, just replace SULPHUR's STONE 石 of 硫 with JEWEL⺩, to get a beautiful LAPIS LAZULI.

5) [astridtops] 2-10-2006(3): The infant playing in the little stream had suddenly found a number of lapis lazuli jewels.
