She brought him back to the village. The next day the village was flooded. The villagers thus cursed the woman for bringing him to the village. – History: In the 8th century AD. Chinese scientists discovered that an explosive mixture could be produced by combining sulfur, charcoal and nitrate. We have learned nitrate (#115 硝) and sulfur, charcoal comes in lesson 24.
