5) [yukkuri_kame] 18-6-2009(17): American families gather around a TURKEY at Thanksgiving and around a TREE at Christmas. I prefer the Turkey over the Tree. 集まる＝集まる＝ to gather 集める＝集める =to collect. Examples: 皆が集まる＝ Everybody gathered together. 私は皆を集める＝ I gathered everybody together.
